The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a carefully restored Victorian country estate that truly shows how agriculture can thrive without chemicals and fertilisers.

For ramblers and those who just enjoy walking or cycling, the Saint's Way and coast path are nearby and there is a cycle route from Par Beach to Eden.

Too many sandy beaches to list with the accent on safe bathing on most of the south coast and surfing on the north coast of the county.

Fowey with its medieval layout and beautiful estuary and Charlestown harbour with square rigged sailing ships are both nearby.

We are very fortunate to live in a beautiful place with so many natural attractions nearby. We would love to share them with you.

Cornwall has some of the finest scenery, moorlands, coastlines and beaches on the planet freely available for all to experience.

Relics of the rich mining history add to the ambiance and the unadvertised Luxulyan Valley that begins just half a mile from us is a superb example of "back to nature" from a former copper, tin, china stone and china clay industrial mining history (park and walk or cycle to explore the valley).

The Eden Project is a unique not for profit educational visitor experience that provides biomes containing a tropical rainforest and a Mediterranean environment and much more all with a strong environmental message constructed within a former china clay quarry.

From Lands End to Rame, the Lizard to Bude, St Michael's Mount to Polperro, all of Cornwall is within 60 miles.

With a host of gardens and National Trust properties to visit there is so much to experience that one visit will not be enough.
